One morning on the way to Manggar Base, my beloved L office by the sea .I incidentally tune in to Smart FM, instead of having the usual CDs played. I was about to change into CD when the topic of the discussion that morning caught my attention, “Emotion Reconciliation”.
The source is a professional therapist, for counseling and he also happened to be a hypno-therapist and columnist for several media. Unlike the usual reconciliation type that I’ve known (i.e. Balance Sheet, Revenue Reconciliation, etc J), Emotion Reconciliation is a way where we should reconcile our emotion from ‘chaotic’, upside down, juggled, burned, hatred, sorrow, hurt, and much other ‘negative’ emotion into positive mode of emotion.
Indeed, it is easier to be said than done! Forgiving, letting go the anger, embracing the reality and make peace of it, most of the time has been translated into being defeated, lose situation and being low, not even to mention the ego that always live inside our self. But the fact is, every bit of disappointment, hurt, hate, sorrow that we carry along the way can be perceived as a stone that burdened our self along the journey of life. Too many stone will slow down your step, sucks out your breath, get you to nowhere and eventually waste your valuable time, which is for sure, is limited.
When you forgiving others, and letting go of all your negative emotion, the most important consequence is that you will liberate your self and move on with your life. Imagine if in most every second we have, we’re obsessed with those who caused the hurt or our losses. We shall lose our focus on many precious things in life and we’ll be half dead along the way doing that.
Then I remembered, lines taken from “Tuesday with Morrie” by Mitch Albom (I am officially become his fans since last month J). To live your life, you must experience all the feelings, good or bad, nice or mean, drawn into it for a while if need to, but then you soon have to be disengaged your self and put a stop of it and moving on with your life. Having doing that, you’ll accept your fear, manage it, instead of run away from it and living with it. Realizing that it’s just an emotion that you have to go through somehow and let go! Throw away most of the stones that packed in our bag and lightened your steps.
One relevant topic with the above is relationship. When it comes to any kind of relationship. We tend to hold on to what we used to have. Ego and fear of leaving our comfort zone makes it worse though. Another lines taken from Morrie’s is that, relationship always has the same cycle, “stop renew stop renew stop renew” Embrace it, try to live with it and you’ll find your peace…
In this occasion, I’d like to wish all of who ever has any kind of negative feeling for me in what ever form of relationship, peace and ability in forgiving. To stay on the positive side and focus on the road ahead. Amen… I love you all…
*It is not a new thing afterall, this topic. But I guess writing it as a reflection and gentle reminder for us, who often drawn into our anger or carried away with our own drama, won’t hurt…

Maksud loh..?!
Wah pertanyaan loe yg berbobot dikit dunk! Yg jelas gitu lhoh..yg mana yg loe pertanyakan?????
I miss the smell of your hair in the morning
The smell of morning coffe you held in your hand
I miss the way the morning sun reflected on your skin
I miss sitting in your porch every sunday afternoon
watching the sun slowly going down into the old western sky.
I miss standing at the edge of the brown pond, look deeply into it
and you were standing beside me
but most of all I miss you
Oh simple thing where have you gone?
I'm getting old and i need something to rely on
And if you have a minute why don't we go
to somewhere only we know
I used to waste my time dreaming of being alive
Now I only waste it on dreaming of you
a simple rule of thumb: it takes more than a person to build a relationship. same as to destroy it. don't ask for one when you can not give one.
iki opo sih rek.. rek...
komen itu sedianya, meski pun kadang melenceng dikit, tapi tetap aja harus dikaitkan dengan post yang dikomen....
